This year, nearly 30 piano players will perform at the House of Blues on Monday, April 27, 2026 in support of carrying the flame of the New Orleans piano tradition and WWOZ. WWOZ Piano Night has two simple goals: (1) honor and celebrate New Orleans piano traditions and (2) raise funds to benefit WWOZ. Patrons are invited to join us for more than five hours of piano from more than two dozen pianists, playing in a range of styles from boogie-woogie to trad jazz, modern jazz to R&B, stride to gospel, and much more. Musical Performers include Bill Payne of Little Feat, Jojo Hermann of Widespread Panic, Jon Cleary, Judith Owen, Joe Krown, River Eckert, Tom McDermott, Oscar Rossignoli, John "Papa" Gros, Josh Paxton, BC Coogan, Tom Worrell, Larry Sieberth, Kyle Roussel, Mari Watanabe, Victor Campbell, Meghan Swartz, Jesse McBride, Joe Ashlar, Al "Lil Fats" Jackson, Keiko Komaki, Lilli Lewis, Mikayla Braun, Yoshitaka "Z2" Tsuji, and Kevin "Sonny" Gullage.
