The Honorable South blends rock, soul, funk, and elements of hip-hop and have a sound that is tribal, meditative, and dirty south. With influences like Modest Mouse, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nina Simone, and Outkast; THS is a testament to what can happen when originality, vision, and fearlessness mingle. In October 2009, they released a bold demo EP entitled "Dirty in the Light" distinguishing the group as a relevant voice in today’s society and New Orleans own Afro Rock pioneers.

Living like we need one another and love.” The Honorable South are founding members MS. (vocalist/songwriter “Charm Taylor”) and Matthew Rosenbeck (lead guitarist).
