Founded in 2012, Social Set formed from a songwriter’s desire to make music for introspection, forgetting inhibitions and connecting. Assembling friends of friends of friends, Social Set has since become a musical vehicle to spoil and sway listeners of young, old, sane, crazy and all that in between.
To call this music 'infectious' is an understatement. Blending RnB, pop, a bit of folk and soul, Social Set's multi-faceted arrangements and thoughtful lyricism have made the band one to watch in the New Orleans' music community and beyond. Songs like “Voodoo,” from the band's debut EP "Celebrate," highlight the emotional feeling and musical influences of eras past while tunes such as the title track, “Celebrate,” provide the soundtrack for family reunions, backyard barbecues, and throwback dance parties.
