Ron Bennett is an artist based out of New Orleans LA. He received his BFA from Louisiana Tech University and his MFA at East Carolina University in Painting. He teaches in the New Orleans area and has exhibited extensively on a national level and is currently affiliated with the Second Story Gallery in New Orleans in the St. Claude Arts district.
Creating art about humanity and its interaction with its environment, he combines complex gestural passages and bold realism rendered in dynamic brushwork. The subject matter, both subjective and universal, form seemingly complex narratives about the human condition.
