Renshaw Davies is a New Orleans based New Roots duo driven by the powerful harmonies of John Renshaw (vocals, guitar, harmonies) and Emily Davies (vocals, light percussion).
Together through these times of evolution, devolution and revolution, our goal is to bring to the world music that embodies where we have been, where we are, and where we are going, because now more than ever music needs to bring everyone together and be there for all of us.
We are excited to announce that we have a new vinyl single, and are working on a full-length album now! The songs featured on our new release, Goin' Down the Road and Auctioneer, were recorded at Bear America Records, in New Orleans. In contrast to our stripped down live show consisting of two voices, a guitar and some beat, we recorded with a full band of our close friends. We can't wait to share our work with you!
