Odie is a watercolorist because he loves to paint water with water. A native of New Orleans, the artist began painting and drawing as a young boy and loved painting sailboats, surfers, and seascapes. These subjects have allowed Odie to express his passion for the ocean. His paintings evoke a sense of calm even if the subject is dynamic. His artistic goal is, ultimately, to delight his patrons - whether working on commission or doing a studio painting - by creating fine quality paintings of extra-ordinary beauty.
