Born and raised in New Orleans, is a self-proclaimed brazilian/redneck half breed.
She began DJing in 2008 and has traveled all over playing at Pitchfork Festival, Mad Decent Monday's in Philly, Art Basel Miami, Voodoo Festival in New Orleans, Fashion Week in NYC and Paris, Razzmatazz in Barcelona -- and she started the notoriously wild weekly party, Obsession, which still continues every Saturday at The Saint in NOLA.
Musa began taking photos at the age of 14.
Her styles range from documentary portraits, to artistic abstracts, to music journalism, to editorial and everything in between. She has had a solo show in New Orleans, been featured in several publications and published in the book, Constance.
Musa's photography has been featured in Nylon Magazine, Self-Titled Magazine, Frank151, and more.
