The Krewe of Freret was established in New Orleans, Louisiana as a social organization which supports local industry, conducts service events that benefit the city at large, and preserves the longevity of the Mardi Gras tradition.
Comprised of veterans of the Mardi Gras tradition and the fresh wave of individuals drawn to New Orleans, the Krewe of Freret is dedicated to placing a lasting stamp on Carnival!
The Krewe of Freret parades on the Uptown route! Signature locally made hand-crafted throws, doubloons, koozies, and beads will rain from Uptown to Downtown.
Riding memberships are still available for males, females, young, old, natives, and transplants.
