Christien Bold

Christien Bold is a songwriter and vocalist originating from New Orleans, LA. From a young age he has been studying the songs of Al Jarreau, Shirley Horn, Nnenna Freelon, and Ella Fitzgerald. These voices, along with an innumerable amount of others, influenced him from a very early age. As a teenager Christien discovered his voice during choral training in both Middle and High School. However, his career in music didn't begin until he was chosen to perform at Armstrong Park for the "Jazz in the Park" series in early 2012. From that day forward, Christien Bold has sought to hone his craft and grow as a vocalist and musician.
