Contemporary Dance Theatre Company led by Artistic Director Barry Stoneking.
Barry Stoneking has been dancing for as long as he can remember, for fun and performance, creating and presenting dances for over thirty years. Barry strives to make dances that get under the skin of my audience. His class is physically, mentally and creatively challenging. He shares the influences of many wonderful dancers and choreographers including BJ Sullivan, Karla Wolfangle, Gerri Houlihan, Dan Wagoner, John Gamble and Eluza Santos. Barry has been presenting dances and teaching in New Orleans since 2010 at the Movement Room, Divine Yoga and other studios. He received his MFA in Dance at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is an Assistant Professor of Dance at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
