Dear Subscriber,
It's starting to look a lot like Christmas around here. Holiday lights are burning on the balconies and patios of the French Quarter. Seasonal displays brighten shop windows on Royal Street. Quarter restaurants are offering traditional Reveillon menus and even Papa Noel is strolling in Jackson Square. The season calls for being merry and there's no better place in the world to make merry than the French Quarter in New Orleans.
Sincerely,
Carolyn McLellan, Publisher
